The Amazing Grater works just like a pepper mill in that you simply place whichever food you would like grated into the grater, place the lid on and twist so that you can have either finely or coarsely grated food in mere seconds. The grater comes with 2 coarse blades and 2 fine blades and because you actually get 2 Amazing Graters for the price, you can keep one fine blade in one and a coarse blade in the other. And the blades are super easy to place into the graters as you simply take off the lid and remove the pin, place the desired blade in, and place the pin back – it couldn’t be easier! The graters even come with 2 refrigeration lids so that you can easily pop any extra leftovers into the fridge while they are still in the graters! These graters are perfect for shaving chocolate, cheese, nutmeg or for larger jobs such as making breadcrumbs to bread fish or poultry! And just for purchasing the graters, Pitch TV will also throw in a juicer that works exactly the same way as the graters. Simply insert your fruit and turn so that you get perfect, fresh juice every time. Two great bargains for the price of one!

Grate fresh Parmesan cheese onto your mounds of spaghetti just like the pros do! With this rotary stainless steel cheese grater, a small piece of cheese fits into the back and is held in place with a backing and while you turn the small knob on the side, the cheese is pressed through an open-end drum which allows the cheese to sprinkle down from the side in beautiful, thin ribbons. The drum locks in place while you’re using it, making sure that you won’t be fumbling around the gadget while using it and is still easily removed for cleaning, which can be done in the dishwasher. This wonderful tool can be found in just about any kitchenware store and are generally available for approximately £15.99.

I just had to get one of those handheld gadgets that lets you grate just about anything on earth when I first saw Emeril Lagasse use one about ten years ago. These microplanes are so good at grating all those things that a regular sized grater just isn’t suited for. I especially like to use mine to grate nutmeg because it’s so tiny, I have no fear of accidentally grating the tips of my fingers! I got my set from Sarah Raven and there were two in the set, both with coarse and fine grating sides. They have comfy plastic handles and an eyelet on each end so that you can hang them for your convenience! They also have protective sleeves so you needn’t worry about anything dulling the grater. They’re the best £30 I’ve ever spent in my kitchen!

From: Sarah Raven
Price: £30
