The Poach Pod may seem like just another egg-poaching gadget but on closer look, it really is a very useful and versatile gadget to have hanging around in your kitchen! You can lightly oil it and crack a raw in egg, place it in boiling water and get the perfectly poached egg but there is also so much more that you can do with this little green machine! Try melting chocolate, using the same method for poaching eggs or use it to bake muffins or cupcakes in. Make individual meatloafs by placing mounds of it in each cup and then baking or pack it full of ice, sugar, and fruit and freeze until you have delicious ice treats! Everything comes out nicely and easily by simply running a spoon around the outside and when finished, it cleans up nicely in the dishwasher! Get a pair for only £8.00!

The Duo Grill and Skillet Pan

This is just one of those inventions that you wonder, ‘Why didn’t they think of that sooner?’ This pan allows you to do all of your grilling on one side and all of your cooking in a flat skillet on the other. The pan is made entirely from cast iron that has been seasoned with vegetable oil and then treated by fire-gleaming the oil onto the pan, which allows you to cook whatever you want in the pan and stab at it with all the sharpest metal that you need or want without ever worrying about damaging the pan.

The pan is completely safe to use on gas or ceramic hobs but because the pan is so heavy, caution is advised when placing it on the stove as it could break ceramic. It is this same strength that makes it so tough and durable and it is also extremely easy to clean! For the low price of £27.50 for a 12-inch pan, you really couldn’t ask for more!
